What is Mindfulness Mentoring?

Mentoring is a way of awakening a knowledge already inside you, discovering your inner wisdom and realising your true potential.

Mindfulness Mentoring is about helping you with your mindfulness meditation practice, whatever stage you are at, and/or using mindfulness to support you when you are facing a challenge.  Mentoring can take place in a small group or one to one.

A mentor’s role is to listen, guide and encourage you in managing your own meditation and/or personal development.  Knowledge is drawn from ancient teachings, modern neuroscience findings, experience and intuition to facilitate the process.

Mentoring is not

•       Psychotherapy (we do not take a personal history or use therapeutic models)

•       Teaching (there might be elements of teaching within the mentoring process but it is a more collaborative approach)

•       Coaching (mentoring does not take a specific focus but takes a holistic approach)

What are the benefits?

Mentoring provides a safe space to grow and embrace vulnerabilities.  It is a space for inquiry, exploration and a place where self-confidence naturally grows.

Mentoring:

  • supports mental health and well-being

  • reduces stress and anxiety

  • helps you to gain knowledge and skills

  • reduces feelings of isolation

  • builds trust

  • provides connection

  • has personally tailored practices to meet your needs

  • provides wonderful community support
